The South Peace Community Arts Council present The Blue Warblers in concert Sunday February 10th at the Dawson Creek Art Gallery at 7:30pm. Admission is $20 at the door.
Natalie Edelson & Kim Beggs, from the Yukon Territories, joined forces to collaborate in an exciting new duo inspired by the love of the rough and ready sounds of Appalachia, and their own deep-rooted existence in a frozen place. They meld original and traditional sweet and savoury tunes, infused with old timey guitar, clawhammer banjo, hand-knee percussion, and rich harmonies that stand as a testament to all the campfires, cabins and woodpiles. Accomplished singer songwriters Kim Beggs (Streetcar Heart, Wanderer’s Paean, Blue Bones) and Natalie Edelson (Mayfly Days) have also released albums that have garnered international acclaim. www.thebluewarblers.com
