Arts North East Welcomes Tiia Kand as New Executive Director

Arts North East is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tiia Kand as our new Executive Director, effective June 10, 2024. Tiia brings with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our community, having been an active member for over 5 years.

Originally from New England, Tiia’s journey has been marked by a profound passion for culinary arts and a dedication to promoting nutrition and seasonality in food. As a certified Culinary Nutrition Expert and Instructor, Tiia has made significant contributions to our region’s food scene through teaching, catering, and collaborating with various establishments to deliver culinary excellence. Her love for travel and exploration of diverse cuisines has further enriched her perspective and inspired her culinary endeavors.

Beyond her culinary expertise, Tiia boasts a diverse musical background, reflecting her multifaceted talents and interests. She joins Arts North East eager to foster and support local artists of all disciplines, bringing her unique blend of creativity, community spirit, and organizational leadership to our team.
