Arts North East Regional Development Grant
Arts North East provides Member Organizations and Individual Members Regional Development Grants of up to $1,000 for events or projects that support arts, culture, and heritage within northeast BC. ANE prioritizes projects with broad community benefits that did not receive a Regional Development Grant in the past year.
- Must be a Member Organization OR Individual Member of Arts North East
- Have not received ANE grant in the last 365 days: no consecutive awards
- Applications are received on a rolling basis year-round until November 30th each year.
- The Member must complete the application form below or request a document from the ANE Executive Director at ed@artsnortheast.org.
- A Grants Subcommittee will adjudicate the application for approval. The applicant will be notified of the results within four weeks.
- Following approval, the Executive Director will issue payment (e-transfer or check) to the Member.
The committee will base its decision on the assessment criteria listed below:
- A clear objective
- A clear description of planned activities
- Clear benefits to the organization and broader community
- How will the funds be used? For example, venue rental, honorariums, supplies, etc.
- A detailed budget defining expenditures and other funding sources
Arts North East appreciates the use of its logo in all promotional material and in publications and programs associated with the grant. A logo will be provided to the applicant upon approval of a grant.
Grant recipients are asked to submit a brief written report to ANE after their project. These reports can be emailed to ed@artsnortheast.org.
