There are 3 shows opening in the gallery on September 8 with Mickey Death, Irene Gut, and Samantha Wigglesworth. This is a free event and everyone is welcome with food, drink and music by Graydon Schilds.

All my life I’ve wanted to paint. My earliest memories are of receiving water colour paints in a tin paint box. Next there came wonderful paint by numbers. My first real try at working in front of an easel was in Junior High with an inspiring art teacher, Mrs Gladys Scotvald.
On mine and my husband’s first Christmas, he gifted me with an oil paint set and a table top easel. Forty seven years later I am still using the easel.
Being self taught allowed me to work on periodical paintings alongside our marriage, our three kids and jobs. It was only when I retired that I was able to put the brush into full action after encouragement from friends.
Now I am living my life long dream.
